WAR: FOLLOW THE MONEY follows the financial trail behind twenty-five years of American warfare.
From Congress and the Pentagon to weapons manufacturers, reconstruction contractors, consultants, veterans’ programs, debt and long-term obligations, the book examines where public money went, who received it, what was purchased, and what the available record can actually prove.
Drawing on government audits, congressional records, contract data, corporate filings and official budget documents, the book traces the financial architecture of Afghanistan, Iraq, Ukraine and the broader U.S. war economy.
